About Olivia Cavallero
Marist Fashion Design Student, Graduates 2024
My awakening to fashion was a rude one, coming from a private elementary to public high school. It was a large shock, but lead me to discover freedom of expression through fashion. Finally, I found a creative outlet to combine my natural talent for art in a new and fulfilling way.
Marist College has shaped me to be the hard working designer I am today.
I am thankful for the endless support and insight I have gained from every class I've taken in the program. I have grown the strengths of determination and persistence, and have learned that inner confidence can take you to amazing places and rewarding results. I am also passionate and proud of my interpersonal skills and the love I have for human interaction. This translates into my sales skills and into the jobs I have worked, using my warm personality as an amazing asset for connections and working together with a team. My love for connection shows through my designs, especially my NEW-TOWN collection, which is inspired by the strength and power behind human support and community. Love is a strong power, and I will continue to wear it proudly through my upcoming collections and future job opportunities.
